1855 rue Therrien is the largest building Helisis owns: a four-storey residence from 1977 with 69 apartments. Most are 4½ and 5½, and many are two-level apartments with a full bathroom and a separate powder room. Most units have a washer-dryer hookup, and there is also a laundry room on the second floor. An elevator, sprinklers, a monitored fire alarm, cameras and on-site parking round it out. The family has owned it since 2008.
The building sits in a residential part of Brossard, about a thirteen-minute walk from Panama REM station, where the light rail reaches downtown Montréal by the Samuel-De Champlain Bridge. Shops and services along Boulevard Taschereau are close by. The building has an elevator, two-level apartments and direct transit access to the city.
The building is shaped like a T, and 26 of its 69 apartments are on two levels, with a full bathroom and a powder room. We replaced every window in 2010.

Living here
- Laundry
- The shared laundry room is on the second floor, near the elevator. Units with a washer-dryer hookup can use their own machines; others may not install one. If a washer or dryer has a problem, call the supplier, Coinamatic, at 1-800-561-1972.
- Parking
- Each apartment has one assigned outdoor spot unless the lease says otherwise. Park only in your own spot. If someone is in it, send a maintenance request with your apartment, spot number and the car's model and plate, and we'll have it towed. On moving day, park the truck on the street.
- Garbage and recycling
- Garbage goes in black bags in the containers in the back parking lot, next to the blue recycling bins. Nothing on the ground next to the bins.
- Bulky items
- Brossard only collects furniture on the first collection day of each month. Put it at the street on Rue Therrien on that day only. The calendar is also posted on the office door. Brossard collection calendar
- Shopping carts
- Grocery carts are not allowed anywhere on the property, including the parking lot.
