Côte-des-Neiges sits on the western slope of Mount Royal and is one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in Canada. Its main street is lined with groceries and restaurants from around the world, and it is home to some of the city's largest institutions.

The Université de Montréal, HEC Montréal and Polytechnique share a campus on the mountain, the Jewish General Hospital is at its centre, and Saint Joseph's Oratory overlooks it all.
